“Bob” spends hours plotting hypothetical terrorist attacks in his parents’ basement, but has never harmed a fly?
Is he a “terrorist”?
“Nancy” donates millions of her gazillion dollars to charitable organizations. However, she despises the poor, weak, and sick; she donates purely for tax breaks and social image.
Is she a “philanthropist”?
I am sensing the emergence of a schizophrenic cultural trend when evaluating the relative significance of thoughts, words, and actions.
Are we drifting in the direction of a future depicted in the movie, “Minority Report”? If so, is that good or bad?
