Corporate metrics – uggh. Too many, too complicated, and out of touch.
However, if you want to improve something – measure it, graph it, and put in right your face and your team’s face – make it big and annoying.
Everyday graph the thing you are measuring. You should have two horizontal lines: where you are at and where you want to be.
Now what? Just keep doing it … everyday. You will see results – it is the only true magic I have ever witnessed.
